My delicious Tarka Dhal Curry is a simple but yet hearty curry  that will satisify both vegetarians and meat eaters. Its a comfort food made by millions around the Indian sub continet due the ingrediants being readily available.

I use three types of Dhal in this curry.

Moong, Chana and Toor Dhal, the blend is magnificent.

My recipe is crammed full of flavour and will be a warming treat when the winters set. This curry is great for anyone looking for a vegetarian curry or a vegan curry to serve up any time.


Best served with Garlic Naans!

Always ensure food is thoroughly heated and piping hot before serving. Please check seasoning and adjust to your taste.

MICROWAVE (850W): Cook from frozen. Remove sleeve, pierce film & cook on full power for 6 minutes. Peal film, stir gently, re-cover and cook for another 3 minutes. Rest for 2 minutes and stir gently before serving.
Appliances vary, adjust timing accordingly.

HOB: From frozen, gently heat in a suitable pan until boiling and thoroughly hot.
Adjust consistency and seasoning if required.
